Her Story

The Short: Haley Fitzpatrick is a artisan who has a passion for crafting and woodworking. She works out of her small yet functional wood shop, accompanied by her Beagle-mix pup, Winnie (& sometimes her little helpers).

The Long: I was born and grew up in the New Hampshire seacoast area. The oldest of four, we frequented the beaches, lakes, mountains, our favorite local theme parks and our family's cottage in Belfast (the coolest, eclectic, seaside hippie town in Maine). Art, music and sports were encouraged in a home where Cable TV was non-existent and video gaming was limited. Some of my favorite childhood pastimes include manning the veggie stand, unicycle riding, stilt walking, theater play, dance class, waterskiing, hiking, building forts/tree houses and playing volleyball.

With the help of athletic and academic scholarships, I obtained a B.A. in Psychology. Despite never having used my degree for what it was intended, I've found it more than useful in the customer service careers I ended up pursuing as a call center representative, retail store manager and currently, as a artisan shop owner.

Having my first child is what gave me the time to take a step back, revaluate my goals for the future and turn to my creative abilities. I made my first DIY clock out of pallet wood and displayed it on my livingroom wall. It wasn't long after recieving a few orders from family and friends that I became a successful shop owner, on one of the most popular selling platforms for handcrafted goods.

Fast foward to the present day and I find myself enjoying a work life balance that is  primarily focused on spending time with family (and framily) and making a little $ doing what I love.
